ANALOG THEATRE

ANALOG is an experimental theatre collective, specializing in tangible, physical, old-school theater techniques. Our main producing activity is our Mask Monday series: on select Monday nights we take over an SF brewery, engage a lineup of local original guest artists, and present a work in progress variety show, free to the public, hosted by mask characters inspired by the tradition of Commedia.

Our mission is to create a home for multidisciplinary, devised performances that rely on collective acts of imagination. We do this by investing in our richly diverse community of Bay Area artists, providing paid performances opportunities for their works-in-progress. We delight in and invite transformational work and back-to-basics theatre magic, including (but not limited to): mask, mime, puppetry, music, and improvisation.
